Following a competitive application process, Barclays Eagle Labs and Plexal have selected 25 high-growth UK tech businesses to take part in the fourth edition of our Scaleup Programme.
This ambitious cohort includes businesses developing technologies at the forefront of AI, cyber security, digital health and enterprise software. From autonomous logistics platforms and healthcare AI to cyber resilience tools and energy optimisation technologies to finance processing and workplace wellbeing, the chosen companies are tackling some of today’s most complex business and societal challenges.
Our four-month hybrid Scaleup Programme is designed to support the founders as they encounter the opportunities and challenges that come with upsizing. They’ll gain practical support to help drive their next stage of growth through expert-led workshops, personalised mentoring, peer learning and tailored introductions to customers, corporates and ecosystem leaders.
Specifically, Scaleup Programme will guide our cohort of innovative businesses across four core growth areas: leadership, people and operations; commercial performance; customer expansion; funding and capital planning.
To mark the start of the fourth Scaleup Programme, Barclays Eagle Labs and Plexal welcomed our new cohort to a launch event at the Barclays Eagle Labs office in Shoreditch, bringing together some of the UK’s most exciting founders alongside investors, corporate leaders and ecosystem experts.
The evening featured a panel discussion, What Breaks When You Scale?, which explored the realities of rapid growth and the challenges founders must overcome as they build and expand their businesses. Guests then continued the conversation through networking, enabling cohort members to forge new relationships and begin tapping into the expertise and connections available throughout the programme.
