A huge gulf exists between tech breakthroughs and commercialised products or services that will support profitable businesses.
Join Informed Funding to find out how the UK’s tech sector can get from one side to the other, and what finance and resources are available along the way.
The event will bring together leaders in deep technology, innovators, entrepreneurs and investors as they look to the future.
Here’s a taste of what to expect:
Host for the morning sessions, Jemima Kelly is a journalist for the daily news and commentary service for financial market professionals, Financial Times Alphaville. She was previously a reporter at Reuters, where she mainly wrote about the foreign exchange market, cryptocurrencies and fintech. The morning will address topics, from governmental support for deep tech businesses (Innovate UK will be present) to the tricky balance of creating the right team for conceptual and commercial success.
Andy Davis, former editor of the Financial Times Weekend, has a huge amount of experience in writing on investment, finance, and business. Davis will be hosting the afternoon session of the Fair. Here, the focus will be on what investors are looking for and how to formulate a winning pitch.
