Joining the rest of the nation, Plexal mourns the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, and we’re honoured to be based on a park that will forever carry her name.
A monarch who led with grace and courage, she was an inspirational leader to us all. We extend our sincere condolences to the Royal Family at this time of national mourning.
The Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park has a number of ways that it’s commemorating the Queen’s legacy:
- Flags across the park are being flown at half-mast.
- Books of condolence are available for visitors to sign.
- Areas have been designated for floral tributes.
- Staff working in the park will be wearing black arm bands.
