The new and improved Plexal website

Welcome to Plexal’s shiny new website. If you’ve been here before, you’ll notice we’ve made a few changes since your last visit…

Accessibility

Website accessibility can be a tricky thing to get right if you’re not completely up-to-date with the latest practices, as we learned from an in-depth training session with Scope Digital. They showed us, succinctly, what our old site was like to interact with via a screen reader. To our surprise it was practically unusable, and we knew something had to be done immediately.

This new site was built from the ground up with accessibility in mind, and tested with relevant tools to ensure a smooth experience for every visitor. It’s fair to say that, by taking this approach, we’ve ended up with a site that makes more sense for everyone. We’re always looking to improve, though, and if you have any feedback on the accessible aspects of the website please get in touch!

Innovation

If you’re a workspace member that’s interested in what else Plexal does, there’s never been a better time to get to know our innovation services consultancy.

The new innovation page has been fully revamped to more clearly explain what we do, where we do it and who we’ve partnered with. If you have an interest in getting involved with one of Plexal’s innovation projects, that page is a great first stop to familiarise yourself with how we might be able to work together before you head over to…

Contact us

Our new contact form is simpler and smarter. It contextually changes what information it asks for based on the nature of your query, and automatically sends your contact request on to the most appropriate member of the Plexal team.

Events

We’ve totally revamped our listings to make it easier to browse the wide range of upcoming community events. Fancy joining our Tech Trends fireside chat? How about coming to our next Queer East panel for LGBTQ+ History month?

And for events requiring signups, you’re now able to register directly through the listing on plexal.com – no more messing around with Eventbrite. Think Incentives are running three free funding advice sessions for members over the next few months, but they want to keep the sessions small and maximise your ability to ask detailed questions about your own strategy so sign up while spots last!
