Here East has sent an invitation:
“Here East, the innovation and technology campus located in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in East London, is hosting its third event in its Future Talks series, Envisioning London 2050: Paving the Way for a Global Smart City.
Expect an exciting and insightful panel discussion with keynotes from industry experts exploring why London is a leading Smart City globally and what it needs to do to keep its crown.
Taking place at Plexal in Here East on Tuesday 7th November from 5:00pm-7:30pm, the event will convene leaders from business, government, and academia, and together, we will be exploring why London is a leading smart city globally and what it needs to do to retain its reputation, as well as the role government needs to play in ensuring the capital’s future remains bright.
There will be a keynote from leading London based futurist and author Amelia Kallman. Amelia was recently named one of the ‘Top 25 Women in the Metaverse’ and is a mentor and activist in the responsible tech movement.
Amelia will be joining the event to make projections on emerging opportunities when it comes to Smart Cities, and what London will look like in the next ten years from an innovation standpoint – as well as the risks AI, big data and IOT could potentially pose.”
