We’re looking for a Head of Marketing with solid integrated marketing experience for a 12-month maternity cover contract.
Working across our workspace, innovation consultancy and events business streams, you’ll be responsible for maintaining the marketing strategy and developing and executing marketing plans to meet business goals. A shrewd budgeter, you’ll create and manage the annual marketing budget, prioritising profitability of the business and ensuring all projects are delivered on time and on budget.
You’ll manage a team of four direct reports: a Senior Content Manager, Content Specialist (part-time), Designer and Content Coordinator. You’ll be responsible for creating performance goals for the department and individuals and support your team members throughout the year to achieve their goals.
Day to day you’ll manage your team to deliver against priorities and marketing plans in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Plexal has a flat structure and this role is very much hands-on. Taking briefs, liaising with internal stakeholders, client engagement, leading on projects, briefing and working with third parties (e.g. video, animation, PPC, PR) could all easily feature in a day.
Finally, you’ll be responsible for how our brand is perceived in market. You’ll work with the team to position Plexal as a respected, high quality, well known innovation and coworking brand; from PR and thought leadership to social execution. You’ll work closely with our Designer, who knows our brand inside and out, but you’ll ultimately have an opinion on all branding decisions and have sign off on all creative.
