We’re looking for a Comms and Content Manager with a passion for technology and innovation to create and execute our comms and content strategies for our master brand and the innovation programmes we run. 

A creative and experienced writer, you’ll be able to distil complex topics and concepts to communicate key points and nail the story behind the detail.  

Day-to-day, you’ll be responsible for creating and executing comms and content plans for the innovation programmes we run. You’ll provide strategic recommendations on the most suitable types of content and channel activity to meet client, audience and comms goals. And then execute those plans across a multi-media and channel mix.  

You’ll also create thought leadership content for the brand by working with our leadership and innovation teams and translating that across various channels such as the web, social and newsletters. This also involves managing two of our four social channels and providing direction and oversight for the remaining two channels, supported by our Content Coordinator.  

We also regularly host or speak at events, so you’ll help to curate content before, during and after the events too.  

Reporting into the Head of Marketing you’ll work in a team of four. You’ll be able to work with our in-house graphic designer and will get some practical support from our Content Coordinator but primarily will be responsible for execution, as well as strategy, of projects you work on. We also work with external agencies when required such as PR, events management, animation or video.  


  • You’ve got experience creating and managing content across a broad range of media like online / offline collateral, longform content like thought leadership, blogs or case studies as well as video, audio, animation and graphics
  • You can edit, proofread and improve others’ content
  • You’ve written for brands, ensuring all-round consistency (brand style guidelines, tone of voice and visual identity)
  • You’re on top of current affairs and technology trends
  • You’re curious and a creative thinker
  • You’re resourceful and collaborative
  • You thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
  • You’re just as good at the doing as you are the thinking


  • 5+ years comms and / or content experience
  • Previous experience in technology or innovation essential
  • Experience writing for B2B a bonus, not essential
  • Experience with various content platforms: WordPress, MailChimp, Eventbrite


  • Flexible working 3 days in office, 2 days from home – we’re based at the Here East tech campus on Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in east London
