Innovation programme coordinator

We’re growing we’re looking for a talented and ambitious innovation programme coordinator to join us.



The innovation programme coordinator will support the Innovation Services team to deliver Plexal’s holistic suite of innovation services encompassing innovation as a service, workshops, accelerators, incubators and intrapreneurship programmes.

The role is busy, fast-paced, interesting and challenging. Projects are likely to be intensive, complex and will require a highly organised approach to manage the multiple tasks simultaneously and people involved.

You’ll perform a range of coordinating tasks such as schedule and risk management, along with administrative duties like maintaining project documentation and handling financial queries. To succeed in this role, you’ll have excellent time management and communication skills as you’ll collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver results to deadlines. Ultimately, the innovation project coordinator is key to ensuring that our projects are completed on time, within budget and meet high quality standards.



  • Coordinate programme management activities, resources, equipment and information
  • Keep detailed project notes, documentation and records and track and manage incoming paperwork
  • Ensuring materials for workshops are ready when needed and supporting the smooth running of these in-house events
  • Support the team in preparing materials, deliverables and content for external meetings, programme activities and workshops
  • Make sure that client’s needs are met as projects evolve
  • Help prepare budgets using established processes and tools to monitor programme plans, budgets and expenditure
  • Anticipate and analyse risks and opportunities work to eliminate blockers
  • Monitor programme progress and handle any issues that arise
  • Coordinate all appropriate legal paperwork (e.g. contracts and terms of agreement)
  • Create task lists for team members and assist with schedule management
  • Maintain excellent working relationships with clients, partners and SMEs



  • 1-2 years of work experience
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Hands-on experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Teams and Miro



  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to learn quickly and a willingness to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Genuine desire to work within cyber security and emerging technologies
  • Solid organisational skills, including multitasking and time-management
  • Strong client-facing and teamwork skills
  • Understanding or awareness of innovation processes and entrepreneurial topics would be ideal
